1. Terms of Contract
The following general terms and conditions of the Sweet-Deco Event Agency apply exclusively to all deliveries and services. These terms and conditions form an integral part of every purchase and every order.
2. Conclusion of contract
The customer places the order online, by telephone, via WhatsApp, by email or in person. The contract is concluded upon acceptance of the order. In the case of online orders (online shop), the contract is only concluded when Sweet-Deco Event Agency sends the customer a written order confirmation by e-mail.
3. Price / price change
All prices are in Swiss francs. The Sweet-Deco Event Agency can change or adjust the price list at any time. The agreed prices apply to goods that have already been ordered. The price of the order is binding, subject to obvious errors (CHF 20.00 instead of CHF 200.00).
4. Delivery of Goods
The goods are transferred in the following ways:
- Collection from Sweet-Deco Atelier-pastry shop
- Shipping by post (please note that not all of our products are suitable for shipping)
- Delivery by car (based on CHF 1.0/km, but at least CHF 50.00)
5. Order Processing
Order acceptance works as follows:
Mon-Fri: 09:00 – 19:00
Sat: 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (not continuously)
Sun + public holidays: 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (not continuously)
Orders or order changes are currently being processed. We cannot guarantee orders or changes to orders outside of this time. If necessary, we recommend that you contact us via WhatsApp during the weekend. 6. Order Changes
Changes to the order can be made up to a maximum of 48 hours before the delivery date/time. We try to implement later change requests as far as possible, but cannot guarantee them. Major customers/wholesale customers with firm orders make changes to their order within the lead time or in advance. Cancellations (company holidays, days off) are known. Delivered products must always be paid for.
7. Terms of delivery by car
The shipping costs are calculated at CHF 1.0/km, but at least CHF 50.00. Sweet-Deco Event Agency cannot be held responsible for non-delivery or late delivery of products if the cause is an incorrect delivery address or the absence of the recipient.
8. Delivery time
Estimated or agreed delivery times are only indicative. Sweet-Deco Event Agency is not responsible for delays in delivery for which it is not responsible, for example, due to force majeure, traffic congestion, bad weather conditions, complicated nuances in the manufacture of ordered confectionery, etc., and will not give the buyer the right to withdraw from the purchase contract or to claim damages.
9. Collection of products from the Sweet Deco Atelier confectionery
If the customer prefers to collect the ordered goods independently in the confectionery workshop, Sweet-Deco Event Agency is not responsible for the final presentation and condition of the goods delivered by the customer to the destination. The responsibility of Sweet-Deco Event Agency ends at the moment of handing over the manufactured confectionery products to the customer.
10. Inspection of the goods / complaints
The recipient undertakes to check the goods for completeness and condition immediately upon receipt. Any complaints regarding quality and completeness must be reported to the Sweet-Deco Event Agency immediately, but at the latest within 6 hours of delivery. Otherwise the delivery is considered accepted. Products that have been the subject of a complaint must not be used any further. Sweet-Deco Event Agency can arrange for the products to be collected and check for defects. If the complaints are justified, the products will be credited.
The Sweet-Deco Event Agency is not liable for transport damage and damage resulting from improper storage of the goods after acceptance by the customer or an auxiliary person.
11. Returns, exchanges and returns
The return or exchange of products delivered to the customer completely and undamaged is excluded.
12. Postage damage
If your goods are delivered damaged or incomplete, this must be reported immediately to the responsible post office. All packaging material with address and assignment number (label) must be available.
13. Payment Methods
You can pay for the items you have ordered from us as follows:
– when picking up in store: cash payment, Maestro, credit card (Visa, Mastercard), TWINT, TransferWise, Paysend, PayPal
– In the online shop: credit card (Visa, Mastercard), PayPal
– On request by invoice (invoice fee CHF 10)
14. Late Payment
The payment deadline is stated on each invoice. This applies from the invoice date. We charge a fee of CHF 10.00 per reminder. We also reserve the right to charge default interest of 5%. In the event of a delay in payment, we reserve the right to withhold further deliveries to the customer.
15. Legal Notices
Swiss law applies exclusively to all deliveries. We reserve all rights (text, images and graphics) of the website www.sweet-deco.ch. The entire content may not be copied, published or used for personal use without the written consent of the Sweet-Deco Event Agency management. The Sweet-Deco Event Agency does not guarantee the correctness or completeness of its homepage and excludes any liability for incomplete or incorrect content. Place of jurisdiction is Lucerne (CH)
